Performing Arts Collection Research Service

The Performing Arts Collection Research Service aims to foster and facilitate research into performing arts history by providing access to the Performing Arts Collection. Researchers can visit the Research Service on Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only and there is a fee of $5.50 to access the Collection. Our Access Co-ordinator will be on hand at all times to assist researchers with the retrieval of material from the Collection. Researchers can obtain copies of photographs, documents and objects in the Collection subject to copyright obligations and any other restrictions

One of the benefits of visiting the Research Service in person is access to the Collection's specialist library, containing more than 4,000 books relating to the performing arts both in Australia and internationally. The library also includes news clipping files 1982-1992, research files on the performing arts, electronic resources, magazines and journals.
