The Arts Centre runs an active research program designed to undertake and encourage research that will increase knowledge of the history and current status of the performing arts.
The current program is focused on exploring the following themes:
Milestones in the evolution of Australia's performing arts.
Contribution of individuals or companies to the development of Australia's performing arts.
Development of art forms as reflected in the Arts Centre's Collections [circus, dance, music, opera, theatre].
