Subsidy support for Primary and Secondary Students

The Arts Centre is proud to continue its support for schools through the First Call Fund, a program for Victorian primary and secondary schools facing barriers of access to live performances and related programs due to distance, disadvantage or special circumstance. Subsidy is awarded for 25%-100% off the full ticket price per student for any Education Performance, or related program as determined by selection criteria. Applications are accepted and assessed throughout the year.
Schools that may be eligible for the First Call Fund include those experiencing:
- Remoteness or regional location
- Socioeconomic disadvantage
- Students from non-English speaking backgrounds
- Students with special needs
- Local imperatives (drought, bushfire, high level of local unemployment etc)
