Digital Learning Hub Music Technology & New Media

With the redevelopment of Hamer Hall commencing in July, the Arts Centre is delighted to announce the opening of the Digital Learning Hub.

Student initiatives

• Primary student courses in music technology, literacy and new media.
• Secondary student courses in music technology, literacy, new media and science.
• Customised Student Programs for early years primary, secondary, tertiary and community organisations. Call us on 9281 8194 to discuss.
• SoundHouse on Tour brings the SoundHouse to Regional Performing Arts Centres. In 2010 we’ll be in Bendigo, Wangaratta, Warragul and Geelong.
• Special Needs Access Program customises music therapy programs for Special Schools and Special Development Schools.

Teacher and school initiatives

• Professional Learning courses in music, sound, video, interactive media, image manipulation and DigiArt (with NGV).
• Customised Professional Learning either at SoundHouse or at your school. Call us on 9281 8194 to discuss.
• On-site Consultancy at your school to assist with and support the set-up and maintenance of technology facilities.

Other SoundHouse initiatives

• The Digital Learning Hub Studio can record your school ensemble to CD, introduce students to multi-track recording or be used as a sound and video production facility for school events. We can even come to your school to record or help with preproduction.
• Birthday Parties - make your own CD with our easy to use software.
