Our professional learning programs provide supportive and practical ideas to help with the demanding nature of today's changing teaching role. Through reflection, risk taking and creative interactions, the programs support higher levels of achievement in teaching practice and energise established teaching methods. SoundHouse Professional Learning courses provide access to research and knowledge as required by all registered teachers under the Victorian Institute of Teaching.

The courses and programs take into consideration the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS), reflecting the elements of interdisciplinary learning and aspects of physical, personal and social learning where appropriate. All courses and programs are lead by qualified, professional educators and provide active participation, course-specific notes, networking opportunities and practical, adaptable classroom activities. Personal learning about current teaching practice, reinforcement from peers and a fantastic morning tea are added bonuses. A wall planner detailing Professional Learning courses at the Alfred Brash SoundHouse for 2008 has been forwarded to your school.
